- Violist Ayane Kozasa has been named first laureate of the 2011 Primrose International Viola Competition at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Along with concerts in the US and Europe, Kozasa (24 and originally from Chicago) receives a hand-crafted Jardon Rico viola with a gold-mounted Arcos-Brasil bow.
